The Liberty Fire Department is governed by the city government of Liberty in Missouri. The department is responsible for providing fire protection and emergency medical services. It employs more than 25 firefighters and operates various fire stations. The Liberty Fire Department also conducts fire inspections of local businesses and schools within the city, as well as administers various educational fire safety programs. Additionally, the department coordinates the American Heart Association's Heartsaver cardiopulmonary resuscitation course for the public.
