Pleasant Hill Middle School promotes students' physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth in cooperation with educators and families. Its curriculum includes English, science, social studies and art. The school also offers classes in German. It additionally operates chess, cooking, drama and reading clubs. The school s athletic activities include basketball, volleyball, baseball and football. Located in Lexington, S.C., Pleasant Hill Middle School is managed by Lexington County School District One, which serves more than 19,700 students in over 20 primary, elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools. The district also operates an alternative learning center and features award-winning marching and symphonic bands.
