DO NOT USE HIM, he had his Uncle Install HVAC unit in my home this past summer, 2015 and I have had problems since day 1! First I was told the thermostat blew a fuse in the air handler and this took place just days after the final install and caused no air in the home during 100 degree heat wave. Then he replaced my thermostat with a very cheap $30 dollar thermostat, he should have installed a new thermostat to begin with. Then we had a second issue and this was our fault, however, how he handled the service call to return to see what the second issue was NOT handled professionally at all! So all summer long the AC unit ran without reaching the set temperature in the home increasing the power bill. Now that cooler air has hit, I have NO HEAT! I did not call him to return back to see what is wrong with the unit because of these issues and after asking him to come out personally to inspect the install because he was the Owner and Expert, he NEVER DID! His set up crew NEVER WIRED the Heat Strips and had faulty wiring in the air handler, I was told by his Uncle he had over 15 years of HVAC experience. Trust me if you have 15 years of experience, you know to wire and you know how to wire the heat strips before completing the JOB. ON top of this, two more issue discovered, in the air handler in the attic a piece of metal was set in place, not an ideal set up for air flow. The air flow is being restricted and there is Refrigerant leak to the air handler. Second, He owns a Tree Cutting Business, DO NOT USE HIM FOR THIS EITHER, DAVID THOMAS is not a reputable contractor.
