I have done business with Critchfield's for over 25 years. They may be a bit more expensive than the meats in a grocery-but then they sell by quality-not quantity. They have an excellent deli, and homemade pies, cakes and other things (benedictine for example). Critchfield's is family owned and operated, and they are some of the finest people you could ever want to do business with. They also have a wholesale operation which sells to restaurants and other retailers. They always have excellent tips on cooking the meat, as well as the best kind of meat for what your needs are (not just the most expensive), and foods that would go well with it.For me, if it doesn't come from Critchfield's, then I don't eat meat. (did I mention they have fresh poultry, seafood and country ham?)
