CKP, also known as Central Kentucky Processing, provides heat treating and metal finishing for manufacturers, fabricators and assemblers in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, computers, printers and electronics, fasteners and consumer products. Its plating and metal finishing options include nickel plating, zinc plating, zinc phosphate and black oxide. The company also offers a number of heat treating options, including salt bath, vacuum furnaces, tempering furnaces, sorting and gauging, vibratory finishing and induction. Through the use of precise instrument controls, CKP is able to produce shallow case depths or deep case hardening on anything from small stampings to large gears. CKP has been in business for more than 30 years and is located in Lexington, Ky.
