Cassidy Elementary School is operated by the Fayette County School District and offers educational programs in grades kindergarten through five. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, physical education, special education, music, language art, spelling and vocabulary, English, math, science, social studies and basic skills. The school has a library and a media center that offers a collection of atlas, dictionary and encyclopedia, as well as books, puzzles, quizzes and resources for students and teachers. It offers a wide range of athletic activities, such as basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, softball, baseball, cross country, and track and field. Cassidy Elementary School serves more than 500 students and is located in Lexington, Ky.
