Auto Science diagnosed my blown head in my Acura. I decided to replace the engine myself, and when doing the work, I noticed that the some items (mostly fuses) were pulled and switched around (it took several hours to correct this). There was no reason for any fuses to be pulled or rearranged. I can't speak for the quality of their work if you hire them to do it, but if you have them diagnose a problem and don't hire them to fix it, an angry mechanic may make your problems worse, and cause more labor in the future (as in my case). I tried asking them about this and the customer service guy (John) yelled at me about the time they spent diagnosing my problem and the fact that I didn't hire them, and then hung up.

I do want to mention that they had excellent customer service up until I decided to do the work myself. They did go out of their way to try to diagnose the problem. I was telling John that next issue with my car, I was definitely going to use them, and I had already told family and friends how good they were up to this point. But I later found out that a disgruntled mechanic decided to take it into their own hands to make my life hell for not hiring them to do my engine swap... this is unprofessional, and I take back anything good I originally had to say about the company. No matter how good their customer service was, I should not have to worry about my vehicle leaving their shop in worse condition than it was when I brought it in.

I've been a Subaru guy for the last decade and I've dealt with a lot of shops over the years. I'm very picky about who I take my car to and I do my research. I have a Legacy GT wagon and when my motor went out, I trusted the guys at Auto Science to do a proper, reliable rebuild. I haven't been disappointed! Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable about these cars and he will tell you the truth. Their shop is incredibly clean and their engine build room is sealed off and spotless like you would want it to be. Some shops see a blown motor and try to extract the maximum amount of cash from you as possible and want to convince you to do unnecessary things. Ryan will give you good, solid advice. Dustin built my engine and it runs great! He also tuned it and it's a good, safe tune. I've been working with them for about 6 months off and on and it's been great. In my research, I talked to all the other shops in town that everyone's heard of about my build and I went with Auto Science because I got the best feeling that they had my interests at heart with the bonus of not costing as much as the others. I'm glad I went with Auto Science.

From brakes to race cars

Very honest, fair, and knowledgable. They always explain to me what exactly is wrong with my car and why and have very fair prices. The people who work their are nice and always willing to help you out. I would defiantly recommended this place to anyone look to repair or upgrade their car.

I met Ryan when he was the only employee at AutoScience over two years ago after i moved to the metroplex. Feeling trapped with only dealers to go get work done on my Subaru, i finally got lucky enough to stumble across Autoscience. All the work he has performed over the years has been affordable, quick and done right the first time. Did i mention that they are usually half the price of any of the dealerships??? I recommend them to anyone i know, whether or not they have a Subaru or not.

Great place. Ryan always goes the extra mile for you and your car. It's nice to finally find a place dedicated to Subys and a mechanic who understands them.

Great place to go. The custome...

Great place to go. The customer lounge is comfy and you can watch your car being worked on. Long story short, I broke a spark plug off in my STI. Every place I called quoted me 2500-3500 dollars to rebuild the engine. They looked at the car for about 5 minutes, and came back and said your good to go. I was like what? Turns out all that had to be done was back out what was left of the plug. It cost me 50 dollars! I was so excited I had them do the timing belt, water pump and an oil change. Great people they could have easily got me for more but they didnt. I recommend them to everyone.
