Loved living here! (I don't know what the last two people are talking about.) My sister & I lived here for 2 years & had a great experiance. Karen (building manager) was always helpful & maintanence was usually over within a day to take care of anything. Yes, they do "check up" on your place, but always made an apt. first, & it was short & easy. Honestly, I think that is why the place is so clean & well kept. We lived on the top (5th) floor, so we never heard much noise. We loved the location too; there is a great place to eat right next door (Main Street Grill), the street is shaded with trees, the famous Hot August Nights-Car Show takes place right out front, with the concerts not too far of a walk away. The elevator did have some issues & wasn't working a few times, but then we hardly ever used it anyway, as we enjoyed the excercise. Parking isn't real great, since you have to park about a block away; being that you're right downtown (historic section). I would highly recommend!

Nice view. Cheap rent.Management likes to check up and make sure your place is clean by scheduling checkups that are nearly always spelled in a unique manner. The area in town is bustling with activity. Even at 2 or 3 in the morning, you can find someone banging on a drum, or singing obnoxiously outside your bedroom window. Walking distance to the local bars, as well as the local skatepark make this a "special" place to live.In reality, I enjoyed paying inexpensive rent, because it was one of the only things that made that lease worth living out. The rooms were spacious. The view was nice. The location could have been better if the trucks and drunks didn't wake us up at odd hours.

If you have pets this is NOT the place for you! The landlord and her boss are very pushy and mean. Everytime we called them they tried to argue with us even though we were just asking questions. I wouldn't rent from them again if my life depended on it!
