William Cameron Engine Company, formerly known as Lewisburg Fire Company is a volunteer fire department that serves residential and commercial clients throughout Lewisburg, Pa. Established in 1831, it offers rescue and emergency medical care services. William Cameron Engine Company provides fire prevention, protection and suppression services. It maintains a range of equipment, including a snorkel, water tanker, rescue vehicle, dive truck, fire engines, utility trailers and ambulances. The department responds to more than 400 fire and rescue and over 1,500 emergency medical response calls annually. It provides online burn prevention and Halloween safety tips. Additionally, it maintains the Student Emergency Response Volunteers division, which offers quick response services for the Bucknell University campus members.
