Dr. Barak Greenfield is a board-certified otolaryngologist who graduated from Queens College. He earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed a general surgery Internship at North Shore University Hospital. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Greenfield is affiliated with St. Joseph Hospital and North Shore University Hospital in Plainview, NY. Throughout his career, he has been awarded for his dedication to clinical care and has presented his research at national meetings. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Beyond my expectations. Dr Greenfield explained his findings and plan of care
Upon arriving we were immediately acknowledged and made to feel at ease. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely wonderful and very caring. My son was in excruciating pain and was experiencing dizziness. The staff was so very very nice. Our doctor was also wonderful. I have to say our visit was one of the best visits to any doctors office. Thank you for having a great staff.

I have been going to Dr. Greenfield for years. The office was 5 minutes away from me, he recently moved about 1/2 hour away but I would never find another Dr. That is closer, so make the trip!

Dr. Greenfield explained things to me, cleaned out my ears, and went over the results of my hearing test.
I was told to come in 15 min early of my appt to fill out registration. I came in 22 minutes early and was told I’m too early and that I need to leave and come back. Ridiculous. I come back and fill out forms and wait and wait. Meanwhile there are other patients who come in and have to argue with staff. After waiting 30 min passed my appt time I ask how much longer and the women looks toward the back and says, “oh, room’s free”. I get sent in about 5 min later. Doctor was fine and person doing hearing test were fine. I did tell Greenfield of my experience. He thanked me for the info. Leaving, I stop at desk for my paperwork and info on Garden City office. They can’t find it. It’s now 12:40. I’m late for another appt. I tell them that. They just look at me. I tell them to just give me my paperwork and I’ll look up info on GC office. Before I left I did tell the people at the desk that they were totally unprofessional and a mess. I will never go back to that office. 1 1/2 hrs-nuts!
