Pivot was established in the 1970s as a small contract product development and manufacturing firm in Kansas City, Kan., that developed a wide variety of products from a gold-flashed wireless electric blanket controller to state-of-the-art anesthesia monitoring equipment. Pivot s domestic office is in Lenexa, Kan., and it has offices in the Philippines, Germany and Taiwan.
