Provided by YPmobileGreat family atmosphere or just to go on a date. The staff is fast and friendly. I have had the sushi and thai which are both amazing. True authentic Thai food, the curry and padthai are very flavorful. The presentation is beautiful. The sushi is always very fresh. Check out this hidden gem.

Provided by YP.comGreat food and friendly staff. We have eaten there at least 15 times and never been disappointed. The sushi is awesome and the beer is always ice cold. I hoping to go again this evening if my wife ever gets off from work.

Provided by YP.comMy 9 yr old and I frequent Talay Thai often for lunch. We loved Indochine, but not anymore! Talay Thai has our vote. Here's why: The number one reasons would be it's on this side of the bridge, and there's not a 2 hour wait anytime you try to go for dinner. Secondly, the wait staff is very friendly, though, as others have said, some are not very knowledgeable. It's only been open a few weeks! I see great things happening with Talay Thai as they grown in Leland. Hopefully, a larger space will be coming within the next year, as it is a little claustrophobic. Just a note for those with a sensitive palate: hot means hot! Sometimes, when a scale is presented of 1-7 one might think 3 is safe. I was wrong. I will stay with 1 and warm it with the sauce on the table. My only wish for Talay (and Indochine for that matter) would be to try to be more kid-friendly. I'm not suggesting build a play area, but offering child size portions would be much better than paying $17 for my 9 year old to have sweet and sour chicken (Indochine) or trying to fill him up with sushi at Talay ($15). Some say to just share with your kid, but my kid and I don't like the same things at all when it comes to type of cuisine. So, Talay: build a kids menu. I will be glad to help you!

Provided by YPmobileSushi was pretty good. However shrimp curry was luke warm and small portion. Indochine is much better.

Provided by YPmobileExtremely disappointed with the quality of the food coming out of this much anticipated venture. If you are looking for A Thai restaurant with no real knowledge pad Thai and no real pineapple in the pineapple fried rice then this is the place for you! The food was tasteless and floating in oil. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor would I return if it was the last place on earth left to get food.
