Received 3 failures from the 318 Village Rd. Leland, NC 28451 location. Order placed at about 815pm. This was ordered as a pan pizza, extra sauce. It’s bone dry. Called the store and spoke with a staff member, MJ. Explained the error. He offered me store credit, and I declined. I asked that a new pizza be delivered to me. His tone immediately became rude. He said that it would be another 40 minutes, give the driver the old pizza, and hung up on me. The second atrocity occurred at 945pm. The pizza arrived and the staff decided to get a little petty. The extra sauce that I requested was ladled in the middle of the pizza. Sauce was also spread across the edges of the crust and the dough was lifted so that sauce could be applied to the sides of the dough. I guess this was my penance for requesting to receive the pizza I ordered & paid for. Since It’s late, I decided to try and make the best of this pizza. This pizza was not cooked through or cut through. I sighed and wasn’t going to call back but growling stomach changed my mind. I call the store and get MJ again. I tell him the problem and he actually laughed. I asked him to please send my pizza made correctly. I also asked if I could receive my order before the 40 minute time quote when I called the first and second time. You’re re going to be shocked ; he said it would take AT LEAST 40 minutes. The 3rd pizza arrived at 10:40PM. 3rd failure. This pizza was over cooked. The sauce on the edges was burned along with the cheese. Since I was starving and needed to get to bed, I tried to give it a shot. Unfortunately, this pizza was also a bust. It had a weird, chemical smell and the box was wet with that same smell. This is a franchise store, and I’ve been in contact with the district manager multiple times. He text me: ” We did review the footage and found no evidence of food tampering. We also checked all potential sources of chemical injury and found none. All of our cleaning supplies are ordered from Domino’s and are safe for food service.” I found that to be the odd since the most recent health inspection noted the storage of hazardous chemicals. When I asked him about that, he asked me to complete a liability claim form for the franchise insurance company. Not going to happen.
