Located in Lehighton, Pa., Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been providing various health care services for more than 50 years. It provides treatment for arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, stroke, and Alzheimer s disease and Parkinson s disease. The speech language pathology department of the center offers treatment for speech, swallowing, eating and communication disorder. It has a care center offering personal assistance, long-term care and special nursing services for disable patients. The center offers various on-site services including psychological and psychiatric, dental, optometry and audiology. Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center also provides eating, dressing and bathing assistance to its residents. Additionally, the center organizes various recreational programs, such as outdoor tours, as well as birthday and anniversary parties for its residents.
