Urology Group provides the Washington Area and Northern Virginia with the finest and most up-to-date urologic care available. Our group remains focused on patient care. We make every effort to treat our patients compassionately in a comfortable setting. Doctor-patient interaction and patient education are our strengths. We make an effort to select the most advanced urologic techniques to combine with our years of experience, and then mix in good old-fashioned bedside manner, so that we can provide the best care for our patients. We encourage you to read our patient handouts (in English and Spanish) to better understand relevant treatments and conditions. Currently, we have offices in Reston, Lansdowne, and downtown Leesburg, VA. We work at Inova Loudoun Hospital, Reston Hospital Center, and the ambulatory surgery centers in Reston and Loudoun. Two of our physicians also perform Robotic Surgery Virginia Hospital Center. Started in 1924, our practice has been committed to excellence for over 80 years. The founding member of our group, Dr. Reuter, was Chairman of the Urology Department at George Washington Medical School for over 20 years. He made many contributions to our specialty including the invention of a variety of instruments for use in surgery and the important discovery of the antibacterial properties of the then relatively unknown sulfa drugs. Building on that early tradition of excellence, our group has continued to expand and grow over the years.
