Unless your dog is infirm, very very young or very very old I do not recommend Old Mill. Not only have I worked with animals locally, including time at the local animal shelter, but I have several pets of my own. It's great that they have a veterinarian, to be sure, but the dogs literally NEVER interact! To my knowledge there are a few other kennels around that actually allow the animals to socialize. When I asked if that was something they provide at Old Mill, the man on the phone actually laughed! Sure, if major medical needs and slightly increased convenience are the most important things on your list, go there. If your pets happiness and enjoyment (during an already stressful time) is paramount to you, you may want to look elsewhere.

We have often boarded both our female dogs ( an older border collie, and a younger lab mix) in the same run. They have been extremely well taken care of. In fact, we forgot to take the food they are used to at home to the kennel the last time. Each of them developed a little diarrhea on different food (that always happens to them!) Old Mill promptly called my husband's cell phone to apprise us of the situation, and treated them for it. I can't say enough good things about this boarding kennel!! Highly recommend!!

Don't go there... I have boarding my dog there twice and in both times i picked her up unhappy, wet with her own urion. at one time they have told me she spilled water on her and second time they have told me that her pillow is in the washing machine. My dog cann't go to the hospital even from fear of the area.

I have been going to Old Mill Veterinary Hospital for 5 years and I love it there. The staff is so friendly and they treat my pets with great care. I highly recommend this hospital for the excellent staff, clean facilities, and quality care.
I love this place. We take our 2 beagles there whenever we need to kennel them. The folks there are very friendly. I can trust them with my babies. I would recommend them to one and all. I have tried others in the area and this is the BEST!
