STILL BEST IN THE BEST THAI PLACE HERE IN LEESBURG EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE 2 THAI RESTAURANTS.

The Best Thai Food Ever Had. not like thai restaurants at every corner in Arlington VA.

We stumbled on this place by accident the first night we moved to Leesburg and it is now at least a weekly stop for us. It only has 2 parking spaces but there is an empty lot across the street that serves as overflow. A lot of their business is take out, the menu says delivery is available but we haven't tried it since it's right on our way home. Prices are reasonable for the classic Thai dishes, my husband loves the drunken noodles, my favorite is the tom yum or tom kah soups. If you want to spend a bit more, try one of the specials, the fish is great (Sunny Tilapia with garlic sauce). Definitely try the dessert too, the mango sticky rice is so good.

Thai Royal may be hard to find as it shares the same building as the Liberty gas station/minimart. Don't judge a book by its cover, though---Thai Royal is surprisingly good! I had a very tasty chicken dish with brown sauce and wonton soup. It's a small place, seats about 30. Very attentive and friendly wait staff. We are always on the lookout for new places to eat in Leesburg, and this place is a hidden gem. We'll definitely be back.
