Cedar Creek Elementary School, founded in 1997, offers academic programs to more than 700 students in grades kindergarten through six. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, English, mathematics, foreign languages, and health and physical education. The school has a library and undertakes various behavior improvement programs for students. Its guidance department provides assistance to students in achieving their academic goals. In addition, the school undertakes a literacy program that promotes book discussion, cooperative learning, and reading, artistic, study and problem solving skills. It also organizes various competitive game programs. The school is a part of the Lee's Summit School District and is located in Lee's Summit, Mo.
