My Fiance and I drove three hours to find a restaurant in Leavenworth where we could hold a small wedding reception (14 people). I called just short of a month to our wedding to go over details and I spoke with the owner who then tells me he isn't going to accept our reservations because he feels he will lose too much money and wasn't willing to work anything out. Of course I was upset that I had to find this out when I called, and his short attitude didn't help matters much. He handled the whole situation so unprofessionally and blamed his staff for not notifying me. If I hadn't just happened to have called, I would love to know what he would have done on my wedding day when the cake, flowers, and 14 people would have shown up expecting our reservations to be honored. I am shocked to see business owners who are so unprofessional and treat their staff and customers so poorly and wonder why their businesses dont make it.
