The Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kan. covers 12,500 square miles in northeast Kansas and has several schools in the area, all being accredited by both the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges and by the state of Kansas Quality Performance Accreditation process. Immaculata High School, Leavenworth, Kan., is one school, with its first class graduating in 1913 of three students. The school has courses in English, American and British literature, math, accounting, science, world history, economics, computer technology, foreign languages, art and health as well as basic theology, morality, social teachings and the New Testament. It offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities and sports through its more than 30 clubs. Immaculata High School is also active in community service in Leavenworth.
