Do Not Visit This Store. The staff completely lies about their products. All merchandise is listed as on sale and special order so they can try to hold you to their contract even when they do not deliver the merchandise. I have been waiting alomost 1 year and still have not received my merchandise. I have heard every excuse from them and they are a dishonest company.
We ordered furniture from Patio World in early May, and although I thought their price was good, it's now August and we have not received our order yet. We call every few weeks and keep getting the run-around. Don't purchase from them if they need to order it... you won't ever receive your item until months later!! :( The summer is now almost over and we never got to enjoy the furniture we spent over $7k for. I guess it will end up stored away for the winter... that is if we ever receive it.

Patio World is total rip off. We purchased a table and 6 chairs in May '11 and still not received the set, even though we were assured delivery would be in 3 weeks. In retrospect, the salesman asked us a ton of random questions when I attempted to review the contract at purchase, and I realize now it was just a distraction technique. For example, he asked me multiple times to write down directions to my home for shipping purposes ( when trying to look at contract), and I was thinking why does a delivery service need directions in the age of GPS. The staff is a bunch of liars, and when I returned last week to inquire about status, they told me 1) the office was locked and then 2) the manufacturer was at a conference in chicago and to this date they still haven't given me a date nor can locate this inventory. I so wish I read a review online first, but fell sucker to a lying salesman. The irony is the office staff made a comment like ' oh you believed what the salesman said?' as if they didn't work for the same business. Unbelievable.. Going to call Amex to try to inquire on my behalf, as I don't think Amex wants to associate themselves with crooks. Make no mistake about it- the furniture looks nice in the showroom but you will never see it. As you can tell I am furious. I hope this post reaches someone who was thinking of buying there. Hopefully enough of these honest reviews ( unlike patio world I don't lie) from ripped off customers will expose this scam for what it really is.. I wish I could assign negative stars, but 1/5 is the worst this post can deliver. With disgust, and without a patio table- DOMINO
My story is the same, and I wish I had checked reviews first. We ordered an umbrella in July and have not received it by Thanksgiving. Multiple phone calls and empty promises ensued - they refused to issue a refund. They have essentially stolen my money. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and may also take them to small claims court.

Don't ever purchase anything from Patio World. They give you a delivery date and then proceed to fail to deliver it multiple times. They also lie to you about the reason for the delay blaming it on the manufacturer when really it is a Patio World problem. I would never ever purchase anything from them again.

My husband and I ordered expensive patio furniture in July 2009. I took delivery on it May 6, 2010. They kept extending the delivery date based on various excuses (it is being made, the cushions are custom). They never returned phone calls. My sales person, Diane, never had an answer (no longer there--big surprise). Marylin with service was useless. The President of the company (Perry) guaranteed delivery and it still didn't show up for another 4 months--a bold-faced liar. I was not permitted to cancel my order even though they were in complete violation of thier contract. I was given a $300 gift certificate for my troubles. My family has spent in the high 5-figures with this company and there was no regard for this. I use my certificate and never go there again. I strongly recommend you do the same--they are dishonest crooks and don't deserve your hard earned money. I have reported them to the BBB.
