General Info

Physical therapy is an integral part of the total care of patients who have acute or chronic disability and/or pain. A physical therapist is a professional member of the medical team who works in conjuncture with the referring physician. A physical therapist must be a college graduate with at least a masters degree in physical therapy and is required to pass a state examination in order to become licensed. DVPTA is completely owned and operated by its professional staff of physical therapists. All therapy is performed by experienced and licensed physical therapists who are members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
