We had held my grandpas 75th birthday party here when I was in high school and I remembered it being beautiful. So, when the time for us to research venues we looked into it. The more we researched the more we realized how perfect it would be for us. 30 of our guests could stay out there with us (it is also a bed and breakfast), we could do EVERYTHING on site (rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception), they have fantastic food (our guests STILL talk about the food), AND they had farm animals everywhere- buffalo, horses, pigs, sheep, long horned cattle, donkeys, and the worlds sweetest golden retriever (as animal lovers this was definitely a bonus!). We flew to Kansas for a long weekend in March to visit the ranch and do a tasting. I rented Circle S for our mothers wedding to my father. I know that this wedding and circle S ranch will be in our hearts forever. The staff is without a doubt the most kind hearted, down to earth people I have have ever met. The farm was wonderful and we had a great time. Rooms are clean, staff is wonderful, Food was AMAZING and i hated to leave. 2 days later i still feel sad that we had to end our time there. The wedding was wonderful and it was becasause we chose this ranch to have it at. Circle S Ranch provided my husband Edward and I with the wedding of our dreams! We bought The Big Event package, which included the inn for the entire weekend, all the rooms, and the wedding and reception areas; we were completely impressed with the ranch! The food for the weekend was phenomenal! Be prepared to bring an appetite; they know how to feed their guests. The scenery was beautiful and our family that stayed with us at the ranch had nothing but wonderful things to say about the rooms, the food, and the buffalo roaming. Our wedding went just as planned; we couldn't have asked for anything better because the help at the ranch came through in a big way. They were readily available for all of our questions and needs, provided us with everything we asked for, and also did a lot of the clean-up after our reception had ended! They hosted the Tomato Festival while we were there with live music, horse carriage rides, and the food was incredible. If you're looking for a quiet, rustic, yet comfortable getaway, this is the place to go.

My husband and I just got married and we weren't able to take our honeymoon until a few months after our wedding. We wanted to getaway for a few days somewhere not too far from home. Lawrence holds a specil place in our hearts and we decided to stay at the Circle S Ranch. The Circle S ranch is such a peaceful and romantic place to stay. We enjoyed the quiet time away from everything. We especially loved sitting on the porch together in the rocking chairs. Our room was wonderful with a large bathroom and a wonderful view of the bison outside our bedroom window. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our delicious country style breakfast each morning. We went fishing, soaked in the hot tub, and walked around the beautiful grounds at the ranch. We had such a fun time together and can't wait to go back for the many anniversaries we have yet to come.

This is truly a great place, the food is outstanding!! We had a very relaxing stay. One of our nights there, they had a Tomato Festival going on, and the band, food and atmosphere was awesome!!! They have a hot tub that's set by itself, it was very relaxing and was very unique they way it is set. Highly recommend this place for getaway or a wedding.

My husband and attended a wedding at circle s 10 years ago and had so much fun and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that I often fantasized about escaping for a weekend of our own. The groupon deal was the answer to my dreams. I could feel my body relaxing as soon as we drove through the entrance. We were greeted by the owner, Mary, who was helpful and welcoming. She showed us to our room (the celestial) which was Ah-mazing. We felt like we were at home, comfortable to roam anywhere and enjoy everything! We made New friends, had drinks on the porch, went fishing, had Bon fires, went horseback riding, took naps,had massages, ate, and even learned how to make ridiculously good food , and RELAXED in the hot tub. All of this just 15 minutes from our home in Lawrence Kansas. We will visit again ASAP !!

A very nice place. Went fishing, caught a lot of fish. All catch and release. The rooms are all unique and different. We stayed in the celestial room - had glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. Very cool. Many rooms have big jacuzzi tubs. It got a bit warm in the room at night - wasn't the easiest to sleep, but the room was great overall.
