General Info
The purposes of school activities are to encourage Independence and self esteem; to develop kindness. Courtesy. And self discipline; to learn to observe. Question and solve problems; and most importantly to awaken the exploring spirit and imagination. After a child has learned in the preschool for three years they should BE school ready. They should BE able to sound OUT words and write ALL the letters of the alphabet. Count and follow directions. They should have enough fine motor control to CUT. Write and color. They should BE able to RUN. Throw. Catch. And climb without getting hurt. They should have a functional understanding of their environment and BE able to take care of themselves. Most importantly they should BE motivated to teach themselves.
