The Occupational Health program provides a full spectrum of industrial health care services that promote a productive work force. The program is operated by the Scotland Health Care System, which specializes in nursing assistance and medical services for the residents of Scotland County in North Carolina. The system, also known as SHCS, is a community-owned, nonprofit organization. It operates the Hospice of Scotland County, Scotland Regional Comprehensive Care and Scotland Memorial Foundation. The Scotland Health Care System s Scotland Memorial Hospital specializes in the areas of cardiology, dermatology, gynecology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics and pediatrics. The Edwin Morgan Center is a long-term care facility that accommodates more than 45 people.
