      General Info

      Established in 1920, Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative markets milk for 1,500-plus dairy farmer owners throughout the mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States. It owns and operates three fluid processing plants: Marva Maid in Newport News, Va., Marva Maid of Landover, Md., and Maola Milk & Ice Cream in New Bern, N.C. The cooperative supplies its milk to a variety of customers including to the U.S. military in Virginia and abroad. Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative s members include dairy farmers from Pennsylvania to the Alabama border.
