Carver Middle School, located in Laurel Hill, N.C., is affiliated with Scotland County Schools. It offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades six through eight. The school offers various programs, such as English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Carver Middle School also provides reading, writing, spelling, academically and intellectually gifted, and computer and special education programs. The school provides various clubs and organizations, such as student council, junior beta and historian, and career, math and art clubs. It also offers the Technology Student Association, a national nonprofit organization that focuses on the needs of elementary, middle and high school students with an interest in technology.
