My husband and I went here for the first time last Friday night. He had the Mongolian beef and rice plate and I had garlic chicken, BBQ pork rice, and chicken chow mein. We loved every item! My husband loved my garlic chicken so much that he bought himself his own plate. The ladies are very nice and laughed when they saw he ate both of his plates of food. We can't wait to go back. Good job!

"Watch your Credit Card"...I go here during my lunch hour and I think the food is pretty good, the only thing you guys need to watch is, when they gave me my bill, it came out to be $10.10, so I gave them my credit card and when they brought both receipts (one copy for me and the other copy for me to sign), I already gave them a "Cash Tip"...so I marked "ZERO" on the tip section, I found out a few days later while budgeting my bills that the person that served me decided to tip herself and put $4.00 on top of that, luckly I worked close by and went over there and filed a complaint to the manager, they apologized...........so just watch out

I have been to the Golden Bowl in Lathrop 6 times since they opened a month ago, They are hands down the freshest Chinese restaunt in the area. They have a very clean and bright in restaurant experience with a delightful and attentive service. the take out seems to wait however until you get there to cook your food ( a little bit of bummer when you are on your way home to hungry clan) They were open on Easter and had a lite crowd, however, once again I waited for my phone order. upside, they allowed me to replace an item on the regular dishes with something more spicy....unfortunatly as i have found throughout the menu.... the chef's idea of spicy is very poor. Even on items with the pepper indicator...they usually are very, very tame. do not let this review stop you from eating at this restaurant it is still one of my families personal favorites....good job Golden Bowl of Lathrop!
