The shipper used the wrong address. Thankfully that address doesn't physically exist. DHL called me to provide a valid address. I provided the valid address (which was 1 digit off from the original one provided).

The driver had scanned the package as DELIVERED even though the address didn't exist, so all of a sudden they can't find the package... even though they asked for a new address...

It's been 8 days since they attempted to deliver and 4 days since they asked for a new address. The facility is literally 30 minutes from me, and they delivered a SECOND PACKAGE to me at the address I provided. You would think someone would have half a brain and look at that pattern. Someone with my exact name had two packages addressed to two different numbers on the same street in the same city... and one pointed to a non-existent address that was one digit off from the package that was successfully delivered.

They have another week to get this to me but there's no reason it can't be delivered today. YES it was the shipper's fault for having the wrong address but fixing this shouldn't take more than 24 hours.

DHL lost my wedding dress. I waited all day for it, but it didn't arrive. The worst part is that they made me seem like a liar, because the courier scanned it at 4:17pm to indicate at a drop off was made and no signature was required.
It turned out that he delivered it to a woman across the street! She said that she almost opened the package, but recognized my name and realized the address was not hers. She left it at my front door the next day just as DHL Express was continuing to send me emails to tell me that they couldn't find the package! Don't the couriers read the shipping labels?!

Initially, I almost lost my mind. I was tracking my daughter's prom dress on THE day of her prom, and the website said that "delivery was attempted, but recipient unavailable". I had been home ALL MORNING. I had my laptop open to their tracking site. I would do stuff around the house & refresh the screen in between chores. I watched as it left China, arrived in Ohio, and then finally closer. We were all on edge. We were counting down the hours to her prom & we didn't know if her dress would arrive in time for her to wear it. I had exchanged angry emails with China the day before about the delay in shipping out. I called the 800 number, then called the local #, & they said they would do their best.

& THEY DID!!! IT GOT HERE JUST BEFORE 5PM & IT'S GORGEOUS & MY DAUGHTER IS GORGEOUS IN IT & I'M SOOOO HAPPY!!!
