United Blood Services in Las Vegas, Nevada is a non-profit community blood center for donating platelets, plasma, and/or red blood cells to help patients receiving cancer treatments, organ transplants, surgery, those with blood clotting disorders, and for hemophiliacs. We hope to encourage people everywhere to give blood three times a year to help those in need. A true hero is not someone who glamorously fights crime, but rather the silent hero whose small contribution makes a big impact in someone's life. Our supply is safe and clean, and we deliver it to more than 500 hospitals in 18 states. More than 15 million people depend on our supply. Giving blood is safe, easy, and it makes a substantial difference in people's lives every single day. You must be at least 16 years old, in clean health, and 110 or more pounds to be eligible to donate.
