EDUCATION H. Keshava Prasad, MD, FRCP, FRCPath, graduated with a medical degree from the Bangalore Medical College in India. He received graduate training in Medicine and Pathology at the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in Pondicherry, India. After that he trained and worked in internal medicine and hematology in the UK. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, and his hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. During his stay in Little Rock, he worked at the world-renowned Myeloma Institute. AREAS OF SPECIAL INTEREST Treats various cancer types with a special interest in the following areas: anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, lung cancer, hospice and palliative medicine and clinical research. EXPERIENCE Dr. Prasad has had diverse and wide-ranging clinical experiences outside the US spanning various countries including India, Saudi Arabia and the UK. In Las Vegas, he has worked as an internist as well as a solo hematologist/oncologist. He joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in 2010. He has also participated in many research studies and has published scientific articles. PERSONAL In his free time, Dr. Prasad enjoys physical fitness, reading, meditation and culture.
