I was homeless in Las Vegas. I lost all my money and had no money, food, water or a place to sleep at night. My first Night I sleep behind a dumpster behind a convenience store right across the street from the Las Vegas City Hall. The next day I followed a flood of homeless people walking down Las Vegas Blvd north to what is called the homeless corridor. I spent the next three nights staying at Catholic Charity, The Salvation Army and then the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. I did not like the long lines, being treated like a number with no compassion and the smelly dorms. One morning I was sitting on Bonanza Blvd talking with another man waiting to get pick up to work as a day laborer. He told me about God In Ministry and gave me an old wrinkled up black and white flyer. I called them the next day. They sent out a driver who gave me a ride to their office. They interviewed me and I made it in. I now live in a nice quiet house with only 3 other individuals and found a job.
