Dr. Rachel Mason is a board-certified female plastic surgeon based in Las Vegas, NV with a specialty in cosmetic and reconstructive care. Dr. Mason practices her beliefs; that all women deserve to look and feel their very best. She knows there’s no such thing as a magic pill and counsels her patients based on their individual needs and the most current advancements in aesthetics. Dr. Mason completed her undergrad in Biology at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia Canada, with honors in Molecular Evolution and Comparative Genomics before attending Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA where she was elected into the medical honor society. She transferred to the UNLV School of Medicine plastic surgery program and completed her six-year residency. After completing, Dr. Mason accepted a position in Norfolk, NE, and was part of the all-female medical team that developed the Breast Care and Plastic Surgery Clinic, providing breast reconstruction and aesthetic care. It was in Nebraska that Dr. Mason realized how important an all-female staff was to her patients’ comfort and well-being and set out to create a similar practice. Dr. Mason now leads Perspectives Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas with an all-female team dedicated to providing top-notch cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery using state-of-the-art technology in a relaxing, comfortable setting. Dr. Mason was raised in Nova Scotia Canada, is the oldest of seven children, and values having a close relationship with her family. When she isn’t working, you can find her spending time with her husband and their beautiful daughter, Estelle. Or out on the golf course.
