Be aware of this cleaner as they will ruin your clothes and not take responsibility to replace them once they damage or destroy them. Let's just say that I've been a customer for nearly 2 years...until recently. I brought in 8 white shirts to have them cleaned as normal. Only this time when I picked them up, all the shirts had a yellow-looking stain along the collar ends and tips and each shirt had a circular spot on the left shoulder. They claimed it was something I did to them, to which I found difficult to believe. They continued that it might be a manufacturer defect....to which I responded the shirts were of different materials. After having their "independent" lab conduct a test on the shirts, they concluded it could be some chemical found in medical products that caused the stains. On every shirt? In the same exact area? This is not acceptable and when the manager stated they would only extend $150 for all 8 shirts, I was appalled because each shirt was only 4-6 months old and cost $55 or more. Be aware of this cleaner as they will ruin your clothes and not take responsibility to replace them once they damage or destroy them.
They charged me $5.59 for a t-shirt that I took in to be laundered. I had three. To charge that much to throw an old t-shirt in the washing machine is rip off time. Never again! $16.77 for three t-shirts!! Outrageous - and they didn't get out all the food spots!! I specifically asked to have them washed-not dry cleaned. A dress shirt is $2.49.
I have been using this cleaner for the past 2 years and I have found that I can not get any better service then what I get. IF i have a problem I just call the Manager of the store in the morning and she will take care of it. When by val bag expired. I was told a month be for my bag expired..I think the young man that wrote the bad review, If he took the time to talk to the manager that only work in the morning. he would not have a problem Thank you Mary
I purchased their discount saving plan when I moved to LV. Today 30 May 06, it was brought to my attention after four months my discount had expired. I picked up my dry cleaning and paid $43.00 for five pants and four shirts, realizing the cost was a bit much, they swiped my card and after the transaction went through decided to tell me since Feb 06, I've been paying full price and due to today transaction having gone through they can't do anything for me. I believe it is with full knowledge and intent not to inform their clients of the soon to be or already expired discount, so they can obtain the maximum amount of monies at the consumers expense. Additionally, I spoke with a lady appearing to be the manager, who stated, "I only work here, I can't do anything", which is complete nonsense. The business practices of this Al Phillips is beyond sad and hope I can be the last victim of poor business practices from this establishment.Thank you for your time Robert
