Thanks for all your assistance while Mom and I needed you. Mom and I enjoyed Rae and Myishh. We needed their help more then I can express. They made our lives richer and easier. Thanks so much for everything. Myishh and Rae always put a smile on Moms face! I would recommend them to anyone!
Dependable, Lifesaver One day I received a call from one of my parents neighbors. She said she found my parents at a neighborhood intersection just sitting in their car. She said they seem very confused. I knew that my parents were getting a little forgetful, but this scared me. I called the rest of the family and said since none of us are close enough to look in on our parents on a daily bases, we need to get some help. I had heard good things from a friend who had service by Visiting Angels, so I gave them a call. I told them that my parents were in denial and we are sure that they will resist any outside help. They assured me that they were use to working with resistant clients and the secret is the family being of one voice and finding the right match. We decided to have a family intervention and asked Visiting Angels to come out during the intervention for an assessment. My father basically told all of us to get out, but the Visiting Angels representative stayed the course,
Angels doesn't even start to describe this organization. Our parents live in Largo, Florida and the rest of our family lives in the New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Our father has been in poor health for quite sometime and our mother refused to receive any help until about a year a go. I watched an ad on television about Visiting Angels and I gave them a call. They explained the services and how the care plans for each client is unique to the individual client. They told us someone would come out to meet with our parents and talk to my parents to get a good read on what their needs were and which caregiver would be a good fit for both of our parents. It was so simple and nonintimidating, my parents felt at ease as they were told that there were no minimum hours per week and the care plans were truly based on their needs. They sent out two different caregivers for what they called a meet and greet and my parents loved both of them. The service started out once a week 3 hours a day
