Behavioral problems can have many negative consequences and threaten the special bond between you and your pet. In extreme and unfortunate cases, behavior issues can lead to euthanasia or having to give a pet up to a local shelter.

  If you have a new puppy or kitten, you know how this addition to your family can light up your home and be a source of so much joy. One of the first things you should do after bringing home your new puppy or kitten, is bringing them to us, your veterinary care team. This allows them a full “nose-to-tail” physical examination and ensures that they start off well-equipped for optimal health. Our veterinarians and veterinary care team are well-educated about veterinary vaccines and parasite control, and our goal is always to give you the best advice to ensure the health of your puppy or kitten.   Loving Care Animal Hospital believes that strong Dental Care is one of the most important elements of your pet’s overall health. Since the majority of pets won’t have their teeth brushed on a daily basis, the food that they eat will begin to accumulate and consequently, form plaque on the teeth. Plaque is where bacteria attach and eventually work underneath your pet’s gumline. This can in turn cause damage and inflammation commonly known as gingivitis. By the time this becomes physically evident, the bacteria has already made its way into your pet’s bloodstream and begins to release chemicals which can contribute to heart, liver and kidney disease.

Our comprehensive dental suite includes a state-of-the-art cleaning unit, high speed drills with LED lighting and digital dental X-rays. All of our patients will receive full mouth X-rays with their dental cleaning at no additional charge as well as home care training by a technician.
