Largo Public Works Department provides a variety of community development services to the residents of Largo, Fla. The department is responsible for streets, drainage, facility construction and maintenance, fleet maintenance and solid waste collection. It also attends to various requests, including vehicle repair and maintenance, street repairs, maintaining drainage ditches, street sweepings, and hauling residential and commercial trash. The department s streets and drainage division offers various services, such as reporting potholes; road resurfacing; sidewalk construction and repairing damage caused by drainage and flooding; and repairing of street, regulatory and informational signs. Largo Public Works Department s solid waste division offers a full range of services for construction projects, and commercial and industrial customers, and picks up bulk items, yard waste, recycling material and regular trash. It also offers a recycling program, and customized commercial and multifamily recycling solutions.
