Ivan Mederos, M.D., F.A.C.S., brings 21 years of post-graduate experience to Laredo Medical Center. He specializes in all aspects of General Surgery, including colon, rectal, hemorrhoids, hernia surgeries, endocrine, surgical oncology, including breast cancer and breast surgery, gallbladder, trauma, and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Mederos received his Medical Degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Mederos is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is licensed to perform surgeries in both Texas and Florida. Dr. Mederos proudly served the United States as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
