- MRIAt the end of the procedure, the data recorder and sensors will be removed and the images acquired during your exam will be downloaded to a workstation for your doctor to review. After ingesting the capsule and until it is excreted, you should not have a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examination or be in the vicinity of an MRI machine.
- UlcerH. pylori is a chronic bacterial infection that causes gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, and in some rare cases gastric cancer and lymphoma. It is treated with antibiotics. Diagnosis and testing for eradication can be achieved with a few different modalities, one of which is urea breath testing. Urea breath test is an in-office diagnostic test in which by blowing your breath into an analyzer, detection of H. pylori byproducts can be tested for. If positive, antibiotics are usually prescribed.
