Dr. Walgren originally hails from the panhandle of Nebraska and the town of Hay Springs. His first exposure to Laramie was four years of undergraduate studies from 1978 to 1982. The next four years were in Lincoln, Nebraska for dental school. Add one year of living in Los Angeles for a General Practice Residency, four years in the Air Force Dental Corps at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, and that completes the loop back to Wyoming. In January 1991 he purchased the Dental Arts practice from Dr. Charlie Meyer, which was then located at 10th and Sheridan. In the summer of 1992 construction was completed on the current Dental Arts facility at 3421 E. Garfield.
