Welcome to Lapeer County Medical Care Facility, commonly known as Suncrest. Suncrest is a 202 bed skilled nursing facility serving those residents who need long-term care and extensive rehabilitation. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay, and most all other third party payors. Lapeer County Medical Care Facility features a 32 bed secure Dementia Unit with special programming for the Alzheimer s residents. The Facility leases one of its wings to a private practice physician group, which also includes an X-Ray department. Suncrest offers on site podiatry, dental and vision services all accepting Medicare and Medicaid payments. The Therapeutic Activity Department strives to maintain functional levels of performance for activities of daily living.
