In response to the comment from CMM674. The real version is as follows. You CALLED us to get an ESTIMATE over the phone. You said you had a 1.4 carat princess cut diamond. We ESTIMATED that we could give you UP TO a thousand dollars for the diamond alone. When the diamond was brought in we measured the stone and found it really was approximately 3/4 carat diamond. When the stone is not loose this method is the only way to determine the size. Carat is a measure of weight not size. In any case, the stone was not what you said it was and we adjusted accordingly. Unfortunately, giving you an ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE, site unseen, isn't the best way to determine value. There are too many factors to consider when looking at a diamond.
I first took my ring in to see what I could get for it. At the time Joe and his staff were pleasant. Joe told me he did not want my ring setting, but would buy my diamond (1.4 ct princess cut) for $1000. I didn't really want to just give my ring away, so he advised me to try Craigslist and even offered to let me have people meet me at his store if they wanted to check it out. Unfortunately our van needs an new engine and we've gotten down to the wire on needing the money. I called Joe and was told that he would still pay 1000$ for my diamond and to bring it back in. My husband took my ring and then JOE turned into a DISHONEST CON ARTIST! He tried to say my diamond wasn't the size we stated it was. So either he doesn't know his jewelry or he thinks we don't and wants to screw us over. What it comes down to is that once he realized we needed the money he TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US! SCUMBAG!! RUN and try some place else! It wouldn't surprise me if half these ratings weren't from people that work there.
The owner was very nice and gave me a fair price on the jewelry I brought in. He also gave me good advice on how to sell a more valuable piece on my own. I would definitely go back and would definitely recommend this place.

They have amazing stuff in the store and if your looking for fast cash you can also pawn your old, broken or not wanted jewelry. I recommend them to everyone :) I have purchased quite a few items and was very impressed on the selection of items Joe (owner) has in the store, and for the prices you can't beat them anywhere. This is the place to go!!!!

I love this place the guy is sweet and he always helps me even if he doesn't buy it he still help me and tell me what it is worth and he isn't rude about it and his deals are way more then fair love this place...... tara zdebski
just jewelry pawn has a large selection of wonderful pieces. from old to new, he had it all!
the owner Joe is vary fair on pricing and even offed a "lay-a-way" which is very helpful.
over all i got both hers and mine for less than mine out of the mall.
we are both very happy that we stopped at Joe's "just jewelery pawn" it really paid off :-)
Very friendly service. great products and prices. cant wait to buy more stuff! and the store mascot was very cute. :) wish more stores were like this one.

Very fair prices - buying or selling! No-hassle, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. I sold several items on my first visit, but I will be back to purchase. There were many unique, pretty pieces - especially rings - all clean and sparkly!
A pawn shop for just jewelry. I hate to say this, but I am pawning something about once a month to make my money match the month. Pawn just jewelry just opened up down the street from me on Cedar by Miller rd. Joe the owner offered me around twice as much for the same jewelry as the other place I use to go to. I did not have to go the the basement. Treated me nicely, and I did not feel like I had worry about getting mugged on the way to my car. Needless to say I will not be taking my jewelry any where else.

HelloI dont usually write reviews but I just put a ring on layaway at this place and after we made a deal he asked me how I found him I said the Internet. He said that if I go back and give him a good review he would take more money off the price of the ring. The place is nice he was easy to deal with and not like the other pawn shops. Jane Bradford

My wife and I went looking for an affordable engagement ring, We are low on cash. She found one she liked. Cheap but still out of our price range. The owner dropped the price and let us make payments. that was nice. Really liked doing business with him.We wont get the ring for a while. She cant wait.

Very fast transactions. In and out in no time. Higher prices than other pawn shops. Deals with just jewelry, so you don't have to wait for people bringing in all the other junk that other pawn shop take in. Very pleased. thank's
