Provided by YP.comI had one of the best experiences with Destiny Dental. Dr. Jon, is my dentist and I have to tell you that I am someone that is scared of needles. Dr. Jon and his assistants made me feel real relax, and I trust him. I can write out a long story but to make it shorter, I will say that The Destiny Dental employees, especially the manager Brittney and Dr. Jon, went over and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. I got dentures and they did an excellent job. I had an issue with my insurance and miscommunication with the Destiny Dental staff, and Dr. Jon said that he was not going to get paid for some of the work he did. I felt bad for that part, but if he didn't help me I was going to be without teeth for the rest of my life. they made sure that I was satisfied. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Destiny Dental. I must say that I have been going through a process with getting my dentures and it made me come to Destiny Dental for like 8 months straight, because I wanted to do it in sections, so that part was on me for the length of time. Each and every time that I walked through that door, everyone of the staff members were very welcoming and that makes a difference. THANK YOU ALL AT DESTINY DENTAL.

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely unacceptable. After having a tooth extracted I was told I would be given no pain medication. After arguing was given tylenol 3. I was treated as a drug seeker because I am on medicaid. I happen to be a PHD candidate at MSU, not a drug addict. I've lost at least a day's productivity to suffering, because of the dentist's own prejudices against those on medicaid.

Provided by YPmobileThe most unprofessional dentist office I've ever been to. I should've spent the extra $150 and went to a real dentist office.

Provided by YPmobileThe front desk staff are very polite and nice. And all of the staff were all very professional with me. But the part that got me was I had a lot of cavities. And the dentist didn't do all of them for what ever reason he didn't disclose the reason to me. Now all I can think is that they were going to be difficult to fix. And the only reason I knew was the fact that I saw a specialist for impacted molar removal. That was honestly what made my experience with them negative. My whole stance is this why only fix a couple and not all and say you are done and if you can't do the cavity fillings then go get some more schooling period. Very discouraged. That they can't back up their professional attitude with professional work!

Provided by YP.comThey are HORRIBLE!!! I have gone to Destiny Dental at least 5 times now. First time things went well, after that it went down hill FAST. The reception staff is very unprofessional and unpleasant. One time they were talking about crack lighters and looking at "sexy guys with no shirts", as I over heard them saying. The average wait time, with an appointment, is 30-45 minutes. The dentist does not do very good work. 3 times I have had the Novocaine wear off and he just hurries to finish what he is doing. After my last visit of getting a filing I could not drink anything too cold or too hot or eat anything hard/crunchy, ever chewing bacon was painful. I told the dentist about this at the next visit and he said he'd fix it.....it's not fixed. I only went to this place because I have medicaid and it is hard to find a place that will accept it, BUT I do not see how this place is still in business. You would be better off going to a preschool and having the kids do your dental work!!!

Provided by YPmobileI would put no stars if possible. I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by the lack of knowledge by the so called dentist, and the lack of compassion or empathy at all. This place should NOT be in business. Please, anyone considering Destiny Dental, do yourself a favor and run like hell.

Provided by YP.comI can not believe how rude and unprofessional the employees are there. They do not greet you when you come in, or even check to make sure that people are going back according to appointments. I sat in the waiting room over an hour and finally asked them how much longer it would be. The lady at the desk told me "Oh, that patient is back there already." I told her idk how that's possible if i am standing right here... After about 20 more min I was back there in the chair.....only to get NO work done at all!! I was told to go get my wisdom teeth as well as another molar out first and then they would take care of the 2 fillings I had. The sad part is I never even had a chance to talk to the actual dentist. On my second visit (after i got my wisdom teeth out and molar) I waited the same amount of time only for them to "refer me" to go get the same molar taken out... Even after explaining and pointing out the extraction site where there was no longer a tooth. I took this as a hint that they have no clue what they are doing, and decided I do not want them even touching me. When I was leaving I had to wait until the lady at the desk was done with her conversation with another employee (about hair) just to check out. So sad. they get ZERO stars!

Provided by YPmobileI came into destiny dental walk in cause I had pain. So with their offices they do a new technology X-ray where once they take the picture it goes right to the computer sadly this service didn't help me and the nurse kept gagging me when she would try and get X-rays of my tooth. But at least to say they only got one and the dentist came in and told me that tooth was infected and had to be removed. But that they couldn't do that cause it was a wisdom tooth and referred me to u of m school of dentistry. To see what they could do for me. This office gave me 12 pain meds and some antibiotics. A week later the pain was getting worse so they have me 12 more and by a a couple days later I told them that is there anything else they can do or other medicine I could get I was I. Pain. The nurse on the phone had an attitude with me and basically treated me like I was a junkie. She told me to come in to see if the dentist would pull the tooth. And I told the nurse you guys told me that he wouldn't do it cause it was a wisdom tooth and you don't offer sedation and Ann Arbor books out until April for tooth extractions. So not willing to help me anymore I called u of m thank goddess they had a cancelation and I got in. But when I got there the referal the destiny dental sent over showed wrong information stating that it was a wisdom tooth that had to be pulled and in fact it was showing a muller tooth the wisdom tooth hadn't even come through yet. So u of m got me X-rays with their new machine that was painless and nothing even goes in your mouth. They talked it over and saw how much pain I was in sitting in the lobby with my husband and children. They supervisor paid for the gas to sedate me and have the tooth pulled today. I was so thankful their customer service was so great and they treated me like a human being. Thanks to u of m school of dentistry I'm no longer in that throbbing pain. Just a little sore but so happy. Destiny dental needs to really understand or know how it feels when someone in pain with a infected tooth that the pain has gone all the way to the root. They need to learn to treat patients with respect and talk like a human being. I will never go to this dentist again. Never thank you u of m for helping me today and taking me out of pain.

Provided by YPmobileI am a father of a 10 year old autistic son, when I called to schedule is appointment I informed the receptionist of this. I asked if they we able to handle a special needs kid and was told yes...so today took him to his appointment (3/13/2014) where it was not a good experience, the tech taking the xrays was rude to my son, talking sturne with him and leading to my son having a full blown melt down crying and yelling...when I said to the lady I TOLD you he was AUTISTIC she informed me that he will not be welcomed back and we will be referring him out...sadly disappointed in people today and there lack of empathy for special needs people...
