Lansing High School is a college preparatory institution that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It has a career center that offers services, such as career interest assessments, career and educational planning, local scholarships, portfolio development and apprenticeships. The school offers various athletic activities, including basketball, cross country, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, and track and field. The school imparts educational classes in art, business, music, physical education, family and consumer science, world languages, technology education, social studies, math and art. It has a team of guidance counselors that facilitates academic success and personal development of students. Lansing High School is a part of Lansing Unified School District 469 and is located in Lansing, Kan.
