I visited the Lansdale Animal Hospital today for the first time with my parrot. The website says that birds and exotics are cared for at this facility, so I thought I would give them a try. Unfortunately, this vet knows absolutely nothing about birds. The first thing he did was look at my bird and ask his species. My parrot is a very common species, so that concerned me immediately. I picked up my bird to hand him to the vet but the vet flinched, then told me to take my bird back saying that his toenails were too sharp. He didn't palpitate my parrot's breast, he didn't weight him, and he didn't examine my parrot's stool. He offered to draw blood to be tested, but he seemed visibly nervous about the idea. When I asked him if he knew how to draw blood from a bird, be admitted that it had been 10 years since he had drawn blood from a bird and that it had been from a chicken!!! So I gathered up my bird and said that I'd be visiting an avian specialist. He said, "Is there such a thing?". Then he said that little is known about bird medicine and that an avian specialist probably wouldn't be able to do anything more than he could. He charged me $35, which would have been reasonable if he had done something but he did NOTHING. Instead, I stressed my bird out for nothing and I'll be going to a real bird vet tomorrow.

Found him during an emergency for a pet that could not be helped.His compassion and caring is second to none.I encourage anyone considering a vet ,or a change of a vet to give him strong consideration.His credentials are amazing. I would venture to say he is more qualified than most in our area.

I have finally found a vet who is not only wonderful with my animals (5), but doesn't nickle and dime me to death like every other vet I've ever been to. My first time here was when my cat was suddenly sick with no warning. Dr. Yang diagnosed him right away. I'm so thankful that he is only minutes away. He really listens to my concerns. I just had one of my dogs spayed and will have my cat done in a few weeks when she is old enough. Also going to have him do a dental on my big boy. Prices are very reasonable! Try him, you won't be disappointed! .

I cannot say how Very happy I am to have found such a Caring loving Veterinary facility, who Truly gives Personal Care and doesn't try to. rip you off.

We had my dog's teeth cleaning service in Lansdale Animal Hospital at 1108 N Broad St, Lansdale yesterday. The clinic is very clean, organized, quiet & peaceful. The location is convenient and easy to find. Dr.Yang is experienced and nice. He treats my dog careful and gentle. He cares about the pets more than money, that what we really appreciate. We'll come back in summer for the shots for my 2 other dogs. The price is very reasonable and competitive to other vets we've been recently. I highly recommend Dr.Yang to all the pet's owners.
