If you need a sympathetic, helpful funeral home, avoid this one! I called to inquire about pre-planning a funeral for my father (he's now in a nursing home and Medicaid requires this). The man who took my call was rude and insulting. I kept trying to explain what I needed, but he kept asking sarcastically, "Well, what do you want me to do?" He wanted to know how much we had in the pre-needs burial account; I told him I'd rather not say at this time (since I hadn't even met him yet). He actually had the nerve to ask me if I was trying to "hide the money!" I was floored, since all I was trying to do was the right thing. I told him I didn't like his attitude, and hung up.Anyone who's had to handle a parent's affairs when they go into long-term care knows how stressful it is - and then to be treated like a criminal by this ghoul was extremely upsetting. I've since made arrangements with another funeral home in Lansdale, who were wonderful and will be getting a great review from me!
