Founded in 1913, Woods Service provides residential, educational and vocational support services for children and adults with special needs. It serves more than 1,000 people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities, challenging behaviors, emotional disorders, brain injuries and neurological disorders. The organization offers 24-hour health care services through nurses, physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and full-time dentists. In addition, it provides a range of therapeutic support services, including behavioral analysis and modification programs and therapies. The organization also offers physical, speech and occupational therapies. Woods Service s residential programs include the Mollie Woods, Brian s House and Camp Joy. It provides educational programs through The Gardner Education Center, Woodlands Education Center and Crestwood Education Center. Woods Service is located in Langhorne, Pa.
