In 1986, Dr. Shealy founded Mackey Family Practice and has been a leader in the local and state medical community for the past three decades. In 1996, Dr. Shealy and the team at Mackey Family Practice began providing occupational health services and launched MFP Work Wellness, a dedicated occupational health practice. On active staff at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, he has served as Chief of the Medical Staff and the Chief of Family Practice. Dr. Shealy is also on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Shealy is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, a certified Medical Review Officer Certification Council, and the FMCSA National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Lancaster Medical Society, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Prior to joining Mackey Family Practice, she worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse for over eight years and has been a clinical instructor at USC-Lancaster. A native of Lancaster, she is passionate about underserved populations and preventive care and enjoys giving back to her hometown.

- Wound CareWith over 25 years of pre-hospital, emergency room, wound care and military medicine, David is a Board-certified Nurse Practitioner and member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic. He earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College and is certified as an FMSCA medical examiner. He continues to serve his country with 27+ years in the U. S. Army Reserves. David is passionate about patient care, education and service to the country. In his off time he spends time traveling with his wife and two dogs.
