Established in 1955, Central Wire manufactures wires and wire products in alloys, such as stainless steel, high nickel, copper, brass, bronze and zinc. It offers bobbin-wound wires with multiple end windings to meet specific customer needs. A wide range of wires are made for the manufacture of braided hoses, knitted meshes for canisters, gaskets and seals and demister applications, woven fabrics for automotive, paper making, filtration, and nickel cadmium battery manufacturing, and stranded wire ropes for rigging and control cables. Central Wire supplies both large- and small-diameter, high-tensile chain wires, and its wires are used in the fastener and battery industries for the manufacture of cold-headed pins, nails, bolts, screws, rivets and battery anodes.
