Wallover Architects incorporated can provide a full range of services for recreation projects due to the contributions of our associated company, Recreation Planning Associates. The staff of Recreation Planning Associates ( RPA ) includes personnel educated in municipal and therapeutic recreation. The services provided by RPA allow us to offer a full range of services including parks and recreational feasibility studies, program and management planning, needs assessment surveys, and impact studies. This capability informs and works with our facility design for aquatics and other recreational goals. RPA has provided comprehensive recreation planning services since 1989. Many municipalities have been well served by our services including: The RPA staff has hands-on administrative, programming and development experience. This depth of knowledge provides greater bearing for planning and implementation recommendations for our clients. Aquatic Recreation has been a major focus of the firm's planning, programming and management. RPA has shown many public and private aquatic facility operators how to maximize income generation through programming and operations. As the principal of RPA, Susan has led the firm with her experience as a consultant to municipalities, private and social agencies. Susan has gained respect for her expertise and has spoken at the Pennsylvania State Recreation and Parks Society conferences on aquatics programming and profitability through design. Susan has also been published on the subject of playgrounds strengthening communities. Susan graduated from Kent State in 1974, with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation while majoring in therapeutic and municipal recreation. Her practical experience has included work with the Dade County Parks and Recreation Department, the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Lancaster Township Parks and Recreation Commission and most recently as the Director of Recreation for Freedom Village a retirement & long term care campus. Susan is a member of the National Recreation and Park Association and of the Pennsylvania Recreation and Parks Society.
